Solar, shaped
around the load.

Row-based dual-axis hardware and Smart Watts software are being developed to reshape when solar delivers—aligning PV, BESS, interconnection limits and 24/7 energy demand.

THE SYSTEM PROBLEM

Annual MWh are no longer enough.

The next solar projects must do more than maximize midday production. They must work with inflexible loads, constrained interconnections, batteries and delivery windows.

MODMEC is designed around that system-level problem: not just more megawatts—better megawatts.

01 / LOAD

Demand does not stop at solar noon.

High, persistent loads need useful solar earlier and later in the day.

02 / STORAGE

Every battery cycle has a purpose and a cost.

Generation shape can determine how much energy must be shifted through BESS.

03 / GRID

Interconnection capacity is a design constraint.

PV orientation, storage and POI limits should be evaluated as one operating system.

ONE COORDINATED PLATFORM

Mechanics. Control. Intelligence.

MODMEC combines a differentiated tracker architecture with site-aware control and a planning layer focused on the value of the generation profile.

01

TRACKER ARCHITECTURE

A row-based dual-axis platform

A low-profile mechanical architecture designed to extend useful solar production into the morning and late afternoon—without relying on a conventional pedestal-style dual-axis layout.

02

SMART WATTS

Control the profile, not only the angle

A developing control layer intended to coordinate solar orientation with weather, site load, battery state, interconnection limits and required delivery windows.

GENERATION INTELLIGENCE

Evaluate energy by when it arrives

Compare generation shapes, direct-to-load delivery, BESS routing, POI utilization and time-weighted energy value before defining a pilot.

Modeling + analytics

ENGINEERING TARGET

Dual-axis profile control. Single-axis-minded deployment.

The architecture is being engineered toward installation, operations and maintenance simplicity—not the complexity of a conventional pedestal-style dual-axis system.

WHERE PROFILE VALUE MATTERS

Start with the load case.

The same hardware can serve different system objectives. Select an application to see the operating question MODMEC is designed to answer.

24/7 LOAD

Make onsite solar work harder against an always-on load.

Shape more generation toward the hours when a data center is still consuming at full load, while coordinating the remaining solar with storage and the interconnection point.

  • Increase direct solar-to-load opportunity
  • Reduce avoidable battery throughput
  • Evaluate value per constrained acre

EXPLORE THE PROFILE

Compare systems by when the energy arrives.

The MODMEC Generation Profile Simulator is being developed to compare fixed tilt, single-axis, MODMEC dual-axis and storage-assisted configurations across different markets and load cases.

  • Morning and late-afternoon production
  • Direct-to-load energy and BESS routing
  • POI utilization and maximum grid demand
  • Time-weighted energy value and value per acre

EVIDENCE, NOT HYPE

What is real today.

MODMEC separates completed work from engineering targets and modeled opportunity. The next step is a measured U.S. pilot.

GRANTED

Patent protection

The underlying tracker technology is covered by a granted Polish patent. A related U.S. national-phase patent application is pending.

NEXT GATE

US

Pilot validation

U.S. Southwest pilot planning is focused on yield profile, controls, stow, installation, O&M and cost evidence.

VALIDATION NOTE

Performance, cost and energy-value outcomes depend on site conditions and remain to be validated through detailed engineering and pilot data. Simulator outputs are illustrative, not bankable forecasts. Patent status is stated as of July 2026 for identification only; scope and rights are determined by official records, issued claims and applicable agreements.

U.S. SOUTHWEST PILOT DEVELOPMENT

Build the dataset the market needs.

The target U.S. pilot is approximately 300 kWp: large enough to test installation, control, reliability and generation-profile value in a utility-relevant environment. Candidate site and validation pathways are being evaluated in Arizona and California; no host location has been selected.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

What buyers usually ask first.

Is MODMEC a tracker or a software platform?

Both layers are part of the product thesis. The row-based dual-axis tracker changes the physical generation envelope; Smart Watts is being developed to coordinate that capability with load, storage, weather and grid constraints.

Are the modeled gains already bankable?

No. Early modeling and prototype work identify the opportunity, but site-specific performance and cost claims require calibrated simulation, detailed engineering and measured pilot data.

Does every project need a battery?

No. MODMEC can be evaluated as a standalone PV architecture or with BESS. The point is to determine when direct generation is more valuable and when storage remains justified.

What is needed for an initial comparison?

Location, project size, representative load profile, planned battery size, interconnection limit, land constraint and preferred delivery windows are enough to scope a planning-grade comparison.

What kind of partner is MODMEC seeking?

Early-adopter sites, utilities, data-center energy teams, developers, EPCs and strategic suppliers that can help validate a commercially relevant pilot and define a path to deployment.
